Historic Map Works Library Edition and Digital Sanborn Maps (1867-1970)
Historic Map Works Library Edition is an extensive digital map collection with over 200,000 antique and historic maps.  Contains U.S. property maps from late 1700’s to the present, and antique maps with world-wide coverage from the 15 th to the 19 th century. Digital Sanborn Maps (1867-1970) contains Sanborn fire insurance maps for more than 12,000 U.S. towns and cities. Please contact Angelique Jenks-Brown for password and to provide comments.

eKorean Studies
A trial service via eKorean Studies starts from May 21 to October 31, 2008. eKorean Studies is an integrated and comprehensive service with objective of making electronic resources in the field of Korean studies accessible worldwide. 12 databases are available under the trial services. 1, Korea, Korean studies Information Service System (KISS) is a full text database of Korean academic journals. KISS includes 5,600 journals covers various subjects in languages, history, philosophy, literature, education, business, economics, law, science, mathematics, arts, music & etc.

2, Korean Studies Information co., Ltd. KSI e-book includes 4,500 titles of e-books on various subjects. It contains monographs of national prominent professors and dissertations and theses in fields of humanities, social sciences, natural and medical science, arts and physical educations etc.

3, Electronic Journal Service DBpia is a full text database of academic periodicals published by major institutions. It includes1,075 journals in the fields of business/economics, theology, education, sociology, nature science, human science, linguistics, law/administration, artistic and physics (11 subjects).

4, Knowledge Reference Service (KRpia) is a portal service intended for general education purposes. It covers 133 journal titles in 10 subjects: architecture, history, literature, folklore, art, culture, religion, classics of Korean studies, oriental medicine, dictionary, illustrated encyclopedia of animals and plants.

5, Digital Culture Art Course is a VOD based e-lectures database. It contains 70 courses/923 lectures under 8 subjects under architecture, cartoon/animation, literature, culture, art, cinema, music, philosophy for continuing education.

6, KoreaA2Z is a knowledge content resource for Korean studies, including full-text collection of general reference, journalism, history, geography, law, religion, philosophy, traditional culture, natural science, ecology and oriental medicine.

7, The Integrated Database of Modern and Contemporary Korean History ( Kdatabase) is an essential resource for research on modern and contemporary Korean history. It contains 115 modern and contemporary historians, 14 titles of official documents and archives for Korean contemporary history. The database is divided into two sections: full-text articles and image files of archival documents.

9, Kpjournal is a full-text database of 18 academic journals for sciences in North Korea. It covers fields in natural science, geography, medical, pharmacology, engineering and mineralogy.

10, Korean History & Culture Research Database is a full-text collection of excavation reports (76 organizations ’ 3,000 reports) of historical sites in Korea operated by national and university museums and private research insitutions and associations since 1910. It also contains research papers, reports, catalogs, and maps related to Korean geography, history, folklore, and architecture.

11, History Cultural Series is a multi-media content database dedicated to Korean history and culture. It focuses on subjects on archaeology, Korean history, art history. It allows users to store and download text and photos easily and quickly for use in the classroom.

12, LAWnB Legal Information is the largest collection of Korean legal materials online. It is a portal service for all law related issues, indexing 50 categories such as statues, precedents, commentaries, administrative documents and statistics, academic articles, law journals, law related news.

13, e-article is a database of Korean academic journal articles.  At present time, this database includes 479 journal titles.

Genome Research
Launched in 1995, Genome Research is an international, continuously published, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on research that provides novel insights into the genome biology of all organisms, including advances in genomic medicine.
