What do I do if I hear a beeping sound?
The beeping sound means the battery is getting low. Save your work to your H drive, or thumb drive, shut down the computer.
How can I tell how fully charged the battery is?
The bottom toolbar has a battery indicator (it looks like a blue battery with a red dot on it). If you place the mouse over the battery indicator it will give you the percentage of power left. You may also double click the icon to see the actual power meter.
How can I tell the wireless connectivity strength within a particular part of the library?
The bottom toolbar has a connection strength icon. If you take your mouse over that icon, you will be given a radio connection strength. Typically the strength is strongest in the open areas of the library and weakest in the stack areas.

Who do I contact if I am having problems with a particular program on the laptop?
You should contact someone at the Bartle Circulation Desk, Reference Desk in the Bartle Library, or the Science Library Information Services Desk.
