You can link to several popular search engines via the Libraries' web site.
But you may also want to try a Spanish-language search engine.
Note that the "Advanced Search" options on most engines have searching tips or help options.
Gateway Sites
You can go through these sites to get to many others, hence the "gateway" designation
The Iberian Studies Web, operated by the Western European Specialists Section (WESS) of the Association of College & Research LIbraries, site includes links to many such gateway sites for both Spain and Portugal.
Another WESS-sponsored site, based at Yale, provides many links just for Iberian Language & Literature.
CiberCentro functions as a gateway to sites in every Latin American country.
University of Texas's Latin American Network Information Center (LANIC) also links to sites by topic, and then by country.
