Medline is produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and covers all areas of medicine, including nursing. Although medline is available for free on the Internet, it is recommended that you access Medline (FirstSearch) from the library's databases and index page so you can link to full-text via SFX.

MeSH Headings
Use MeSH headings to refine your search. To find the MeSH heading for a term, go to the MeSH link near the top of the search screen. Type in you keyword e.g. "cancer" and click search. Medline will retrieve a list of related MeSH terms. Use the check boxes to add the headings to the search.
