Finding Nursing Journals

The easiest way to find a journal is to search the library catalog. For example, if you were looking for the journal American Journal of Nursing you would type this title into the Browse Title search box.

The catalog record will indicate what format the the journal is available in and where the journal is located. For example, below is a sceenshot of the American Journal of Nursing's catalog record. As you will notice, this journal is available in a number of formats including microfilm, electronic and print. The journal is also located in several different places including the science library and the library annex. You would need to click on the Library Holdings link to see where a specific issue of this journal is located.

Electronic Journals

Some nursing journals are available electronically. If you only want to view electronic journals, use the Electronic Journals link from the library homepage. From the Electronic Journals page, you can search for journals by title or by subject.
