A U.S. government site that provides market research and country information.

Export.gov
This site is the U.S. government's export portal. It provides links to industry and market research reports, as well as trade leads.

globalEDGE
Excellent source of country and industry information.

World Travel Guide
This site is designed for business persons travelling to other countries or states. It contains information on lodgings, the economy, climate, transportation, etc.

No extensive business coverage, but good for background information on arab countries.

BISNIS-- Commercial Information on Russia and the NIS
The Department of Commerce's "one stop shop" for doing business in Russia and the newly independent states of the former Soviet Union.

China Data Online B.U. Only
Contains demographic and economic statistical information on China, including data by city, county, and province. This database requires a password which can be obtained at the Bartle Library Reference Desk.
