Correspondence with friends and relatives, financial records, miscellaneous. Correspondence is arranged in sub-series INCOMING and OUTGOING, and thereunder, chronologically.

L.M. Bowers — Personal Financial Enterprises, 1876-1928.

Sub-series consist of the many businesses Bowers started and managed, arranged chronologically. The correspondence dealing with each business is separated into INCOMING and OUTGOING, and thereunder, chronologically.

L.M. Bowers — Rockefeller Enterprises, 1896-1933.

Sub-series consist of the many Rockefeller-owned enterprises that Bowers was associated with. The businesses are arranged chronologically and the correspondence dealing with them is separated into INCOMING and OUTGOING, and thereunder, chronologically.

Ephemeral material consisting of bills, invoices, notices of payment, etc., arranged loosely by type of material, and thereunder chronologically when the date could be ascertained.
