Abstract

Josiah T. Newcomb, 1911-1981 was the former Director of Libraries at SUNY Binghamton. Before coming to Harpur College he was a colonel in the U.S. Army, and Director of the New York State Associated Libraries. After his retirement, he was Broome County Historian.

The papers were arranged, and the finding aid prepared by Richard Gannon, Associate Librarian in January, 1985.
