How do I sign on to the computers?

You use your Binghamton POD username and password.

How can I save information I find in the library on the computers?

You can use a thumb/flash drive or the shared network space (H drive). The H drive is only available by logging on to the computers.

I saved something to my H drive. How do I find it when I am on my computer in my room?

You access files by connecting to the SSL server.

You can also point the browser to ftp://username@bingsuns.binghamton.edu (use your username for "username" in URL).

Once you arrive at the ftp server, you'll be prompted for your BingSuns password. Enter it and you'll get an Explorer window into which you can drag and drop or copy and paste files or directories.

Your Bingsuns password should be the same as your e-mail password. If that does not work, you can find your Bingsuns password using BU Brain.
