SALALM - Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials

SALALM's annual conference is held each spring/summer. Information on the SALALM LIII Conference theme (New Orleans, LA, May 30-June 3, 2008) is available. For the most up-to-date information about the upcoming conference, see the SALALM LIII website.

Future SALALM conferences will be hosted by the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut in Berlin (2009) and by Brown University in Providence, RI (2010).

Travel support to attend the annual conference is available through Enlace awards and the Presidential Travel Fellowship.

  • Co-sponsoring of Book Dealers' Reception: $200
  • Advertising packets (Flyers to be included in conference packets) $100 for one flyer to be included in each packet
