Why do I get sent from the Bartle Library to the Science Library?
Most of the materials relating to the Sciences and Psychology are in the Science Library. Also, each library has Subject Librarians, who can help you research certain topics in depth. We will sometimes refer you to one of these librarians to better provide you with help

Where is the Bartle Library located?
The Bartle Library is in the Glenn G. Bartle Library Building.

Where is the Fine Arts Collection?
It is the area is in the Glenn G. Bartle Library Building, but separate from the Bartle Library. It is on the first floor, below the Library Tower. It can be accessed either through the Newcomb Reading Room or by the stairs in the North Reading Room of the Bartle Library.

How can I contact Bartle Library?
The Readers Services (Circulation, Reserves and InterLibrary Loan) can be reached at 777-2194 (x.72194), and the Reference Desk can be reached at 777-2345 (x72345).

What is the Bartle Library Instruction Lab (room LN 1305)?
The Bartle Lab is the computer lab that is in the Josiah T. Newcomb Reading Room. It is used for library courses, workshops, and instruction sessions. When it is not use by the library staff, the lab is open for student use. A calendar is posted by the door so that students will know when the lab is in use by the library.
