New Open Access Journals from BioMed Central

BioMed Central, the independent publishing house that provides free access to peer-reviewed biomedical research, has recently launched the following new Open Access journals:
Algorithms for Molecular Biology
From BioMed Central: Algorithms for Molecular Biology is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that encompasses all aspects of algorithms and software tools for molecular biology and genomics.
Areas of interest include but are not limited to: algorithms for RNA and protein structure analysis, gene prediction and genome analysis, comparative sequence analysis and alignment, phylogeny, gene expression, machine learning, and combinatorial algorithms.
Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases
From BioMed Central: Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that encompasses all aspects of rare diseases and orphan drugs. The journal welcomes high quality review articles encompassing all aspects of diagnosis, clinical description, clinical work-up and management as well as aetiopathogenesis, *epidemiology, and genetic counselling of rare diseases. It brings together knowledge of basic research and clinical practice. By providing this information, crucial for optimised diagnosis and management, the Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases aims to contribute to the improved care of patients affected by rare diseases.
Radiation Oncology
From BioMed Central: Radiation Oncology is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that will encompass all aspects of research that impacts on the treatment of cancer using radiation. It will publish findings in molecular and cellular radiation biology, radiation physics, radiation technology, and clinical oncology.
