New Open Access Journals from BioMed Central

BioMed Central, the independent publishing house that provides free access to peer-reviewed biomedical research, has recently launched the following new Open Access journals:

Journal of Biomedical Discovery and Collaboration
From BioMed Central: Currently, many scattered disciplines study aspects of scientific practice, including informatics, computer science, sociology, cognitive psychology, scientometrics, rhetoric, and history and philosophy of science. The journal will connect these disparate perspectives with each other, and with contemporary scientific practice.

Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine
From BioMed Central: Philosophy, Ethics, and Humanities in Medicine is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that encompasses all aspects of the philosophy of medicine and biology, and the ethical aspects of clinical practice and research. It also considers papers at the intersection of medicine and humanities, including the history of medicine, that are relevant to contemporary philosophy of medicine and bioethics.
