Health, United States, 2005 (29th edition) is now available on the National Center for Health Statistics' web site. The report is prepared by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and “provides an annual picture of health for the entire Nation. Trends are presented in health status and health care utilization, resources, and expenditures.”
