Saturday July 28 Network Outage: Library Website, Computer Availability Affected

Due to the Binghamton University campus network outage, no computers will be available in the Libraries until 4 p.m. or later on Saturday, July 28, 2007. The Libraries’ website will also be unavailable during the outage.

The Bartle and Science Libraries will be open from Noon – 5:00 p.m. Why not take this opportunity to explore the stacks and browse the print collection or find a quiet study space? Service desks will be open and staff are available to help you navigate the classification system if you are looking for a book. The Libraries' list of call number locations is available online at http://library.lib.binghamton.edu/webdocs/loco.html and paper copies will be available at service desks.

Encore – A New Way to Search infoLINK, the Library Catalog!

Click on Encore Preview to try out an enhanced search interface for infoLINK. You can see your results sorted by relevancy and further refine your search using facets and tags. Use the feedback link to let us know what you think!

During the preview period (July 11 to August 10), Encore is only available on campus.

Check Out the New & Improved infoLINK

The library catalog has a new look! With the recent infoLINK upgrade, we took the opportunity to improve the search interface. Improvements include a basic search screen with a single search box, hyperlinks and copy information on the results screen, and a more streamlined recall process. Use the feedback link in infoLINK to let us know what you think!
