Multiple Region DVDs

The Libraries now have two computers that can play multi-region DVDs (i.e., non-U.S.). They are located in the Media Room inside of the East Reading Room just off of the Bartle Library lobby.

Akira Kurosawa

Every month, we highlight a different director and the library's holdings by and about that artist. The director for November is Akira Kurosawa. Kurosawa's film Rashomon introduced Japanese cinema into the world and had a great impact on other filmmakers. From George Lucas, to Sergio Leone, all owe a debt to Kurosawa.
