Summer Updates 2005

Paving the Way for the Information Commons

In preparation for the implementation of the Information Commons planned to open Spring Semester 2006, the Bartle Library Reference Room has had some minor construction completed, including an asbestos abatement. Design and layout for the service desk and furniture in the Information Commons are under way with more construction to begin in July. The West Reading Room will be closed and there will be no access to the stairwell on the 1st floor from within Reference in the West Reading Room.
