Paging an Item from the Library Annex@Conklin
The Library Annex@Conklin has been created to provide additional storage for the Libraries' collections. The Annex currently houses the following types of materials:
- Pre-1980 journals from Bartle Library and Fine Arts Collections
- Older journals from the Science Library
- Infrequently used monographs and monographic sets from the Bartle and Science Libraries
- Selected government documents
- Infrequently used microfilm and microprints from the Bartle and Science Libraries
- Special Collections: Conole Archive recordings and books
- Special Collections: Originals of Ph.D dissertations and Masters theses
In infoLINK, materials in the Annex are designated as Library Annex - PLACE A REQUEST in the location field.
Paging books, journals and microforms:
Complete the online request form. Paged materials will be held at the Main or Science Library Circulation Desk for one week, unless longer use is requested. Patrons will be notified only if materials requested cannot be located.
Materials at the Annex are paged daily, Monday - Friday. Materials requested by 8 a.m. are available by noon the same day. There is no paging Saturday and Sunday.
Paging Special Collections items from the Annex:
Due to the time required to retrieve rare and fragile materials, we cannot guarantee 24-hour turnaround for paging Special Collections materials from the Annex. Patrons are therefore asked to submit requests several days before the items are needed. It is often advisable to phone Special Collections and discuss requests in advance; telephone (607)777-4844.
