Pharos Print Prices and Quota
Simplex (1-sided ) $0.05 per page
Duplex (Two-sided) $0.03 per side
Color (Simplex only) $0.40 per page
Every student receives a weekly printing quota of 75 pages. Unused pages roll over
and are available until the end of the semester.
Pharos Print Quota can be used only for Black & White laser printing.
A BUC$ account must be used to pay for color laser printing.
When the quota is exhausted, a BUC$ account must be used to pay for
printing. Your BU ID is your BUC$ card.
If you do not have a BUC$ account, visit or call Meal Plan Office to set one up.
Science Library Information Commons
The Science Library Information Commons (SLIC), located on the main floor of the
Science Library,
has 50 computers workstations (40 PCs, 10 Macs) with access to online research material,
productivity software, and quota printing and two scanners. The SLIC is open all
hours that the Science Library is open.
